In contraire with the tendency to more abstract and intuitive compositions, Andrew Duke swears by a no nonce's attitude in which he focus on the beats. V/A/ RECYCLING BUZZ (amanita / idoia) The sound-explorations can be categorised under the label "modern", abstract electronic, minimal beat patrons but also free jazz and over the top drum tracks are the trademark from this compilation. MIWON / ST-8 (Kovhi / Grundrauschen) Shared release from Grundrauschen (Berlin) and Khovirecords (Estonia). The mark from Miwon is pop. ST-8 He could be on the Future Sound Of Jazz compilation next time. Especially on the openings track "Tarve" uses he very much traditional instruments (piano, guitar, organ,….) and jazzy rhythms O'LAMM: Snow Party (active suspension) O'Lamm let himself mark through hectic laptop computer creation. Confrontations where deconstructed digital sounds and glitch crashed with cut up pop melodies, techno beats and defaced surrounding noises. HYPO: Karaoke a cappella (active suspension) Hypo can control better his influences the 80 ies, pop and electronic are in a cut & paste way used to construct wacko songs. Humour is also a constant factor in his work, what you see not frequently in the pretentious electronics scene and what him thus makes adornment and different. Kevin Drum :Sheer Hellish Miasma (Mego) 'Sheer Hellish Miasma' is a shattering sound experience full of dirty and filthy noises. 'The Inferno' is hellish to listen too : it is exhausting, but at the same time you has the think 'This is fuckin' brilliant !'.
