NYC, this Saturday Sep 21 at 2 pm at East River Park Amphitheater- follow Grand Street east to the East River: "Sound clash" A historic meeting of reggae legend U-Roy ( often considered the true father of "rap" )? and Kool Herc ( often considered the Godfather of Hip Hop dj culture)? back to back with a historic ( and a long time awaiting on US shores) meeting of Coxsone Dodd's Downbeat and King Jammy's Super Sound duelling sound systems. with Talib Kweli and Black Star as host(s)!
