The Hague is the name of the dutch city where these labels are based... More-over, for what i know, I-f (interference, part of Unit Moebius and Beverly Hills 808303??) lives in the Hague. Together with some friends or so he started doing some great electro&italo-music.. This resulted in releases on their own labels: viewlexx, hotmix, murdercapital, bunker! I-f has a major deal in this i believe. All what is happening at the moment is stated in the article. The Hague-gang is pissed off because of labels as Gigolo which has been releasing records for 6 years now and maybe even with more succes than labels above. Maybe The Hague feels like not getting enough credit? It is the same shit all over: " this kind of music is our baby and now it is growing too fast and all white "middle-class" kids buy our music and we don't like that!! We want our music to stay underground...." Maybe the hague should realise that when a baby is growing up.. it'll meet parents of other kids as well?? Gigolo seems to be a nice father or mother ; ) the voice of Q (uibuz) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Reading, John" <john.reading@us.didata.com> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Wednesday, September 04, 2002 7:06 PM Subject: RE: [idm] Hague Underground vs. International Deejay Gigolo's and Electroclash So is The Hague the parent of these labels or just the hosting provider of their sites?

I still don't get all that... But I'm tired of all the noise good or bad about the 'e/c' word. It can go fuck itself for all I care... Thankfully, history proves that this fad will be over soon enough and we can move on. IMO. Anyone who can look back at the Kraftwerk/Bamabataa '80's, knows the real shit is the idm/hiphop craziness happening now. right?
