Can't really defend the Urban Renewal comp that seems to be getting so many
negative comments here, but will say that I've found it enjoyable (though
not really supreme or anything, but not bad either).
But will comment that of all the things I've gotten recently, the new
BusDriver has been the top notch. Been listening to that non-stop. Bought
on a whim, and has been played quite often. Super swell flow there.
(The new Soul Position has been played equally as much...much better than
the recent RJD2 solo, bought that on the strength of SP, but it kinda
lacked. "Let the Good Times Roll" is easily the best track, can stick to
the 12".)
New Steinski CD should be swank. and the upcoming Mr. Lif (Emergency
Rations was top notch).
Hope to hear more by that Busdriver chap now.
