Well, not entirely. There may well be other people who don't really like
Squarepusher's previous work, but are, as most people are, curious about
new releases. Rather than hearing "it's good, so good!" all the time, it's
refreshing occasionally to hear "i don't really like his stuff, and this
also fails to impress me." Artists change over time, so it'd be pretty
closed-minded to assume that just because you didn't like them in the past
you're always going to dislike them. At least this person is listening to
new releases.
