Plaid was amazing at the Coachella festival. It was like colored bubbles
popping above my head. But then again, I was on mushrooms at the time.
Squarepusher rocked the house too.
Sigur Ros puts on a good show as well. Not IDM, but still great.

Maybe I havr seen Plaid too many times, but as of most recently I was kind
of disappointed. When they came to SF to kick off Double Figure, their music
sounded good, and the visual presentation was pretty groovy. But surely the
music sounded pretty damn close to the cd, and I didnt get the sense they
were doing much of anything with it live. Then several months later, they
returned with the new P brane singles, and again, the music sounded
practically identical to their album, save some new unreleased stuff, and
they showed the exact same visual set. I love plaid, but thought that was
pretty lame, to show the same visuals within a year, practically the same
music, that sounded, not even really toyed with that much, in any way that
seemed risky. I sometimes get nervous about plaid having too much fun
playing rock'n'roll stars.

definitely plaid, in terms of electronic shows, at the
north star in philly. just superb.
in terms of rock: interpol, need new body.
