this is prolly a stupid question... why do artists/labels release their albums with additional tracks in other countries so we have to pay 10 extra bucks to get 2 songs? is this just a money making trick? kaiser np: console "console yourself" (are there any other artist that make stuff like this?)

A lot of times it's done in countries that get killed by imports. For example in Japan their economy is such that a US import version of a CD actually sells for less then the Japanese domestic version which is why you always see things released there early and with extra tracks.
