This Wednesday, August 14th, CBC Radio 2's Brave New Waves will be
broadcasting a 20 minute piece of music by hellothisisalex called 'playing
with being lost'. Brave New Waves begins at 12 midnight Eastern time and
can be streamed via this page:
http://www.cbc.ca/audio.html. You can also
catch Greg Clow & Sheryl Kirby of Piehead Records (www.pieheadrecords.com)
on Brave New Waves the next day, August 15th, for an interview about the
label and their introductory series, of which 'the canadian spelling
program' was volume 2.
Also: on September 15th, hellothisisalex will be playing Future Rhetoric
(www.futurerhetoric.com) at NASA (609 Queen St. W., Toronto, Ontario),
alongside Jakob Thiesen.
Currently, we're just finishing up the artwork for our next release, 'a
murder of crows' on skylab operations (www.skylaboperations.com) -- due out
Spring 2003, and we're working on more new material for upcoming releases
(as always, you can count on us to be busy with writing).
