This is 5+ years old now but a track from it came up on shuffle today, and I went and listened to the whole album again -- for the first time in a while -- and if you haven't given it a chance, I think you should. They're more in techno mode than IDM mode but these tracks are deep, and the production is close to perfect. There's nothing extra, and you can hear each sound as though it's individually curated. It has the repetition of techno, but it changes up and stays fresh for the duration. And they're masters at finding mysterious, dislocated sounds to disorient the listener without blowing the track out of the groove. https://duststoredigital.com/album/tranklements

I missed this when it came out and was really disappointed, thinking only available as digital. I didn't realize it was still available as a CD though, really happy you posted that link! On Tue, Oct 9, 2018 at 12:31 PM kent williams <chaircrusher@gmail.com> wrote:

I love all the richard+martin era Black Dog, but yeah, tranklements stands out as one of the more IDM and just all around interesting albums.
