Word. I've been listening to this record a couple of times a day since it
arrived a few days ago, and I have yet to get sick of it, which is a rare
thing to say about a remix EP. It helps that the original track was one of
my favourites on the album. But every remix on there is stellar, and none
of them sound enough like the others to make it repetative. And the
addition of new vocals (or in the case of the Safety Scissors track,
rewiting the lyrics slightly and getting someone completely different to
sing them) make it even better.
Apparently the release has been delayed until Aug 20th, but when the date
rolls around, everyone should be all over this. It's easily the single of
the summer.
