Many people find mixing stuff very wooden. Others think he has fallen prey to a faddish need for pleat matching. Most of his sets feature a lot of thick pads. Pay careful attention to the mtv Cribs episode when they visit Redman's pad, he's got some really cool looking turntable stands, almost like stands that drummers use, but sometimes you can get a good deal on a regular workbench, like I bought a workbench from Ikea for cheap and use it for a studio rig.
