I'm still trying to recover for the Ghostly NYC date but I have to say that it was the best show that we've done so far, all of the acts invovled were excellent. Matthew Dear rocked a sweet 4/4 techno set, all I have to say is that this guy know exactly when to drop the bass :-) Dabrye was smooth and jazzy and Dykehouse was fucking hyterical, he's a really fun guy and I can definitely see comparisions to cex but theres something very different here, Dykehouse isn't really trying to push some message, he's just having a good time and everyone in the room has a good time with him. Too bad Midwest product isn't playing in SF, they were amazing. And of course Phil is nothing less than top notch booty shakin! aw, shucks. ;) so is midwest product playing as a full band? i've heard the CD and think their only misstep was putting the first track first -- it's SO derivative of new order, but they're really much more original than that.... -----Original Message----- From: Record Camp [mailto:lists@activaire.com] Sent: Friday, July 12, 2002 10:51 AM To: 'Philip Sherburne'; idm@hyperreal.org Subject: RE: [idm] ghostly int'l in SF next wek I'm still trying to recover for the Ghostly NYC date but I have to say that it was the best show that we've done so far, all of the acts invovled were excellent.
