Could you provide some more info on Vibrant Music, Active Suspension, and Tundra. What vein of "IDM" is the stuff in? I'm liking the other picks but there are a few I hadn't heard of. For great labels that keep on going I wanted to add Neo Ouija and Dub. That new anonymous 12" on Toytronic is really nice too. Tom ----- A little late on this one but... hello tim, sure here's a little rundown on each... Vibrant Music This label was created last year by one the Chain Reaction label artists (i believe it was Fluxion). Since that time Vibrant has release 4-5 releases in the deep techno-electronic vein similar to that of the basic channel/chain reaction sound. Artists on vibrant include Fluxion/Silex, Naono, and Continuous Mode (1/2 of porter ricks). Fans of deep dubby techno and gas-like deep ambience should check this label out (especially Naono who reminds me of a more ambient vladislav delay). They dont have an official website yet... Active Suspension A small french label featuring a roster of little-known talents including Mils, O.Lamm, Melodium, Tin Foil Star, Domotic, Magnetophone, etc. The style of Active Suspension varies from release to release but all are good in whatever genre/style they undertake. I recommend you check out the Active Suspension comp cd for a taste of what they have to offer (i prefer the o.lamm, mils, and domotic). For more info check their website at: http://www.activesuspension.org Tundra Music Tundra is the new label run by our own Pietro and producer Tim Koch (aka Thug). Pietro would probably be able to give you more info but definitely check out their new Tim Jakiw vs Maps & Diagrams ep. Great lush electronica that reminded me of some of the better Norken/Metamatics output. Also some of the upcoming Tundra releases that Pietro mention sound impressive as well. For more info check http://www.tundra-music. com/ Hope this helps! -->-Lance---- PO Box 450715 Westlake, OH 44145 United States --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
