another phthalocyanine CD to check out is _zack's_ (phthalo 5)... it's been recorded after the 2 aforementioned albums & it goes in a somewhat "new" direction... more focused, still as insane... only 4 tracks though but worth the purchase in my opinion. the _viridian_ EP (phthalo 2.1?) on the other hand is old phthalocyanine & it's much mellower, it never really hooked me save for a song or two...

if you're into phthalocyanine then i can only recommend libythth. his first album _dissolve-a-diamond_ is quite undescribable, fast-paced & very weird. he's got a new CD out, haven't seen it anywhere yet. antenna farm (phthalo 24) actually i didn't like very much, it's abstract but i find it kind of superficial... i actually really enjoy the jason potratz _transfer_ (phthalo 21) CD but be warned: it's all a variation on acid house! but at 29 tracks, it's worth it, & full of surprises. i like the sistol, but you have to be into minimal house... it's got a slant though! have a nice day ~ david --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
