datach'i and unit here. we have listened intently to the music around us
for years now and watched what we see as a steady decline in the quality
of tracks all around lately. we're disappointed with where shit is going
and so we intend to do our part to change it.
so we started co.ad.audio out of the nyc, a label with strong emphasis on
originality, songwriting and innovative production...use your high-tech
gadgets to get your ideas across...not just for the novelty of it. the
bomb dropping will commence probably mid to late fall..drop an email to
this addy if youre interested and we'll keep you updated.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR DEMOS.
we know there's some sick shit out there that's not getting a shot and
that's what we're looking for. if you think youre writing some badass
tracks...better yet, you KNOW that you are, then we want to hear what
you're doing. no bullshit, imitation, generic, hotsawce, tofu, or trance.
if you aspire to make trax that sound like a previously established artist
then it'll show. the reason we've not stated a particular niche of exact
music we are seeking is because we want to hear
anything and everything that may be fresh, different and innovative. we're
looking for shit from anywhere on (or off) the planet.
general demo policy:
*only send stuff you really think is fucking out there sick
wicked....motherfuckin goddam.
* submit tracks on CD, Minidisc or cassette tape. Don't attempt to send
MP3s, cheese wheels with your songs etched into them, or website
addresses. mp3 quality will not do justice to your shit, the cheese will
melt and if you're serious about it then you want it to sound fucking ace.
* Include your contact info clearly somewhere on the case so that if we
like what we hear we can contact you. all demos will be listened to
although we appologize that we wont be able to get back to everyone, but
if we dig your sound then we WILL contact you...even if only to say that
we want to hear more.
*if it appears to you that we have an affinity for profanity...its because
we do. if you do too then we can be friends.
