Discount Plastic Surgery is an Asheville, NC-based
electronic collective comprised of some friends of
mine. Their shit is really good, moving from
hard-edged and noisy to lush and chilled-out while
still maintaining more stylistic cohesion than one
could reasonably expect from 4 people who are all
essentially bringing their own tracks to the table.
There will be CDs for sale cheap.
And if anyone isn't so put off by this shameless plug
that they actually come to the show instead of
barraging my inbox with complaints, Diviner is well
worth staying for, Dead Voices on Air meets Download
meets Wire meets, I'm tempted to say, Autechre.
