If Hip Hop can exist as avant-electronic meditations, referencing the
shadows of Alice Coltrane, Sun-Ra, and the electronic jazz of Carl Craig,
then there is room for Daniel Givens. Within his music you will hear the
past, present and future. His sound has roots in jazz, spoken word,
drum-n-bass, world music, dub, and music's yet to be named. With his new
