ABOUT n5MD>
n5Md is a new idm/electronica label from America run by Mike Cadoo of
Gridlock/Dryft. The releases of the label are primarily on MiniDisc with two
compilations MD1 and MD2 released to date. With more compilations planned we
can also expect releases from Vcam, Proem, ML and Tim Koch.
VCAM>
James Long (A.K.A vcam) was initially driven by a fascination for molecular
biology and immunology and has a B.S. in biological science from Stanford
University. "What does that have to do with music?" you say... Well we here
at n5MD think this is where vcam got his flair for minute, almost molecular,
attention to audible detail. This audible attention to flow and feel
sometimes sounds like his music is oozing rather than pushing from the
speakers.
Vcam has appeared on both MD1 and MD2 and has a forthcoming 12" with n5MD.
Look out for vcam live shows and DJ sets in and around the San Francisco
bay area.

n5MD lable founder, and producer (Gridlock/Dryft) Mike Cadoo has pushed the
boundries of acceptable music formats for nearly 2 years. By releasing
left-of-center electronic on MiniDisc, 12" and 7" formats, Mike continues to
expand the vision of n5MD.
ZYGOTE>
UTR founder, dj and producer Zygote (AKA Stephen Ruiz) began as a solo
project after the breakup of Analog Lifeform in 1998. Having releases on
Under the Radar Records and Alectric Records (Canada), Zygote became a
project focused on more experimental electro, and DSP methods of working.
