Just a quick plug for the new Lowfish 12" EP release on Ersatz Audio.. I finally received this little gem in the mail the other day and i have to say that it's stunning. Lowfish :: The Accident Causer (Ersatz Audio) Falling back on the precise electro-techno of the 80s and casually slipping in modern technical electronics to the Lowfish "sound" (with unique analog driven beauty), Gregory De Rocher's debut EP w/ Ersatz is a slick release that should have your feet moving as well as your nostalgic brain cells. The intro track called "Domination" delves into a vocodered piece that's definitely a new direction for Lowfish.. You can tune into the sound-clip for this at http://ersatzaudio.com/html/EZmo.html.. I agree with Pietro about the Accident Causer 12". An electro-pop gem. But speaking of Lowfish, another new Lowfish release to look out for is the forthcoming 'Maintain the Tension' mini-cd on Suction. It contains six tracks of electro-pop bliss including a few tracks previously released on limited vinyl-only eps for Awkward Silence and Genetic. Here are the release details for you: .
