Been listening to Quench's _Exclude_. Very impressive. Crunchy and beefy beats and moody keyboard textures. Sonic architecture puts me very much in mind of Funckarma's _Solid State_ to the point where I am impelled to ask: has/have Quench got any connection to the brothers Funcken? I think I have this right- Funckarma is comprised of both brothers. Quench is either one of them or both of them. Cenik is one or both of them. Math is both of them with a third member. There is also another project whose name I don't recall, but I saw it some website, maybe the Aim Records or the Dub site? Quench's Exclude is definitely worth picking up. I also recently found a 12" by Cenik on Isophlux called the Secret EP which is similar to the Quench stuff and is highly recommended.

I think there are a few more. The Funcken brothers are part or all of: Funckarma, Quench, Cenik, Eaven (one remix of an Endorphins track), and Tronikgatan I think Math is not any of the Funcken brothers directly. This is from the write up of Math - Forces Combined (MAS 16.01) "the artist behind Math is the 29 year old Mattie Hendriks from Venray, Holland. He has done a few tracks under the name Quench, which is a collaboration with Funckarma from Utrecht." I try to keep track of every track the Funcken brothers release in a discography I keep. Maybe I can get put it on the web at some point.
