Will major IDM/Techno labels soon switch to copy protected CD ? I might buy a new CD player, and was wondering if I should wait a bit to see if all the wrinkles are ironed out ? I've heard that older player won't play those new CDs?!!? I know that plastic city is already using this. Timewriter's mix cd is protected. Most new cd players play burned cd's with no problems. Ripping them however is another issue. There's some open script burners out there and some that burn bit by bit or something, but I dpon't know details.
