Huh? How can you NOT like Emerge?! But that being said, the rather true-to-the-original cover of The 15th made me rush off to find all my old Wire releases. Shockingly, I only have original releases of Pink Flag, A Bell is a Cup and Wir's unfortunate The First Letter. I do have tattered much beloved cassettes taped off vinyl at the time of release (!) of 154 and Chairs Missing and set about recording them into WaveLab and beefing the bass & tops up a bit (a LOT actually :-) Those old recordings come through so thin) and spent this last weekend in a haze of Wire reminiscence. They were f*ing brilliant. To anybody who hasn't heard them, go find!!!
