Bola- Fyuti I don't think I'd go so far as to call it a sophomore slump, but it's not nearly as good as Soup. It has some nice parts, a coule songs are nice for the first 1 minute or so and then go on for another 5. Phonem- Ilisu Sounds exactly the same as Hydro Electric. The songs are a bit shorter on this one. Gridlock- Live.Traces. Don't know if this one is out yet, but like the Traces cd, this is a must have. Live versions of a couple from Traces, at least one from Further, plus a couple new/unreleased songs. Not quite as dark or heavy handed as Trace, every bit as impressive. Great re-working and nudging of the originals, ultra precise programming. These guys are tops. (At least until the new Not Breathing cd comes out.)

i don't know if agree with this summary... I think that "Ilisu" is significantly darker and grittier in spots. The overall sound is similar, definitely... but the tone has taken a slightly darker turn. "War by Other Means" for example is a lot less light than say "Isodensity." _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
