first impressions:
tom p spins.
he warps, skams and masks his dj sets
from b.o.c. over abstract hiphop to gantz_graf,
defining the mood for the evening
and giving the perfect link between the live acts:
phoenecia are cool.
layers&layers&layers of drumpatterns,
never losing focus.
richard devine is an animal.
his energetic workout behind the laptop
flashes over the audience.
chinstroking factor near zero,
his set almost completely danceable. cheers & screams.
great live action, building, pumping, driving.
did i hear a 'house' track with handclaps
and female voice snippets in his set?? whow.
and what a friendly guy he is.
plaid are wonderful. oh yes.
each track accompanied by its own video artwork,
including a moving little robot-arm on the mixing desk
holding cameras for images of knobs & hands.
two nights in a row
with less than 4 hours sleep, more than 12 hours driving,
well worth it. too bad i can't go to berlin too...
i seriously urge everyone to attend at least one
of the forthcoming dates, check here for details

good night boys & girls,
wolf.
