On a related note, a friend of mine informed me that the image of the naked family etched onto the back side of the 3rd Geogaddi vinyl was the image put on the first Deep space probe (or 1st satelite or something of the sort--i think there's a star trek movie with a scene involving the spacecraft in question). It was our governments' way of saying "this is what we look like." -geoff _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

deep space? how deep? only one of the Voyagers has left our solar system... Voyager 2 if I remember right. Yeah, when I worked on the Galileo flight team we got to listen to a recording made as the Voyagerpassed through the heliopause - that's where hydrogen ions radiated by the sun basically stop moving away from the sun. If I haven't lost you yet, you might be interested in the link. here goes http://vraptor.jpl.nasa.gov/voyager/vgrhelio_pr.html I'll see if i can find out which spacescraft the naked family was on. i don't think it was Galileo, Mars Observer or Casini. Having worked on those, I think I would have heard about a naked family. =D Lisa Geoffrey Richards wrote:
