May 20th was the last release date I heard for DJ Shadow - The Private Press (Universal/Island) Here are some forthcoming releases that sound interesting. Has anyone heard any of these? . Fennesz / Vainio - Invisible Architecture (Audiosphere / Sub Rosa) . Atom TM - Replicant Rumba Rockers (Non Place) . Pan American - The River Made No Sound (Kranky) . Ruisort - Acapulco Now (Certificate 18) . V/A Andrew Weatherall - Machine Funk Specialists (Rotters Golf Club) . Super Collider - Raw Digits (Rise Robots Rise) --- nlo gax <iddagoeg@hotmail.com> wrote:

I haven't heard it, but if you haven't got the info his is a mix CD of Atom TM's material assembled by Bernd Friedman. I haven't heard it, but have heard most of the contributing tracks on Rather Interesting. His focus definitely seems to be on the more upbeat accessible Atom material, and it should be a lot of fun.

I'm curious to check this out. I saw two live sets from him a month or two back, and one was very spacious, less beat driven material with live sounding keyboards and chaotic echoes.. the other was really heavy, sparse techno. Much more thudding and stripped back than any of his recordings. If the album is like the former I'll be over the moon.
