I reckon it'll be bringing back the crazy 80s basement party vibes filtered through the subsequent decades. Huge crashing drums, questionable synth solos, timbales breakdowns, etc. all meticulously sliced and diced. Well, it seems as likely to win the majority of this list over as super-technical gabber does. :) Michael - http://www.ampcast.com/jetjaguar --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Check out Smash TV on the Bpitch Control label.... it already has happened :-) in the best possible way, of course. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

:) I don't doubt it. I guess I've been getting into some stuff like what I described, which is partly why I mentioned it, but how it fits with the behemoth that is the IDM list is a bit hard to say. The vocal few (myself included) get to say what they like, really... but the relatively big names seem to hold sway, if for no other reasons than they have decent press and distribution!? \\ the necks saw them play, live, last night, for the first time. a pure music experience. electronica made with instruments. trance inducing. hypnotic. simply amazing. creating natural reverb in the room so as you'd swear you could hear a violin, electric guitar, flute and vocals. and yet there was only drums, double bass and piano, with no effects and no pedals. uncredible. the next big thing. www.thenecks.com \\ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
