Personally I think it's pretty cool not printing them and leaving the
interpretation of what sounds 'right' to the player of the record. I never
would have got into Autechre if I had been playing their shit at 45 from the
jump, I was shocked to hear it on CD at this speed. Leaving it
indeterminate can give a record two lives; in the case of something like
AE's Envane (first thing I heard from them) it can appeal to both hip-hop
heads (like me) and electro kids too. Just pick a speed that sounds best to
you and relax, there are only 2 choices you're not gonna get it too far
wrong.
