So where is a good place to start with Cabbageboy/Si Begg? I love his track on Zen Cuts and it turns out he's done loads under loads of different names and has relased stuff on Tresor, Mille Plateaux, Ninja Tune blah blah blah. Any recommendations? Finally, someone breaks the monotony of Boards of Canada/AFX with some more great music. So you wanna get into Si Begg, huh? Buy Cabbageboy's "Genetically Modified" and hunt down a copy of Si Begg's "Network Southeast Vol. 2" (i hope that's the name is it, all my vinyl is back in Ohio...). Anyway, those are my favorites by him. I can't emphasise finding "Network Southeast Vol. 2" enough. Those tracks are ridiculously slick. Cheers for the suggestions. I'm really surpirsed that I haven't seen him mentioned here more, or at all. Actually I'm quite surprised that I hadn't heard more of him in general since he most of the stuff he has released is on labels I really like. But then it's always fun discovering new artists, especially one you haven't heard of before, and then find out that they've got a whole back catalogue to explore.
