Hi Jan & All, You're using your logic and your discriminating taste to judge, and you're not wrong - I can't argue with it. But there's the flip side; that it might also be simply enjoyable - to me it is. Not worthy of this lofty list perhaps, but I'm glad something at least vaguely in the genre gets played on MTV along with the endless boy bands, young "divas", and vacant commercial hip-hop.
