Some things I've heard that I really like:
Hawke - Party People (and the new album - coming feb 2001) - housey tip
Dub Trees - Dub Trees (Youth on the psy-dub tip)
Various - Docking sequence (BSI Records) Damn! this is an excellent new dub
style record. Not leaning at all towards the Berlin nu-dub sound, more breaks &
hiphop stylee.
Systemwide - Osmani Stepper (BSI Records) Awesome! saw these guys live, great
sound, fucnked up steppers dub with distortion and electronic gizmogery.
Anthony Rother - simulationszeitalter - Wicked kraftwerkian style electro
(german computer voices, slow electro beats) - the kids love it! or so I've
been told.
Various - Cashier Escape Route - Good trendy neu-electro stylings, commodore 64
sid chip sounding bizness meets dsp trickery inna glitch-dub-minimal mashup
with some melancholy sine-waved melodies.
