If you're in London Thursday,29th Nov. Mixmaster Morris is djing and Funki Porcini will be previewing tracks & visuals from his new album "Fast Asleep" (not scheduled till june 02). The venue is Cargo, its located in off Curtain Road on Rivington Street. Doors open 8pm till 1am - but we suggest you get down there early... There's also the very very cool smallfish records on Old Street around the corner. Thats worth a stop too. 21st century ninja http://www.ninjatune.net --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

there is also Law and Auder night on December 7. here is all the info: Friday 7th December 2001 (8 - 12) Rehabilitation@The Foundry our FREE alternative night out. 84 - 86, Great Eastern Street, London EC2 (nearest tube, Old Street) tel: 0207 7396900 www.lawandauder.co.uk : check out our website for more details - Like popping to your local - just a better local with great music - An outrageously relaxed night out - drop in, hang out and hear some great sounds by artist such as Luke Vibert, Plaid, Bedouin Ascent, Aphex Twin, Pole, Cursorminer, Freeform, Summit, Ardisson, mothboy, Spacetime Continuum, Les Baxter, Mouse On Mars, Digital Underground.... also with guest dj and live pa each Month; resident djs_Spongeboy & Tench/Dancon One visuals by_Mark Everett Live_Fallen Angel Guest Dj_I.F.U Live_Cursorminer previewing tunes form his new six track 12" Andrew Weatherall www.bi-wire.co.uk: "'thismanadventure' is like the tuning of three transistor radios whose dial allows the scanning of time, space, and radio waves.'virus' is a three minute burst of electro - punk. 'pop music' retunes the Martian radio mentioned above but then begins to encase in molten concrete. As befits a man who appeared on The Complete Death Of Cool, this EP is out there, funky, but with a sly grin on it's wee radge face. Care in the community never sounded so good." Overload Media's review from www.overloadmedia.co.uk With the artist having recently released tracks for Lo Recordings, Noodles and Unbearable Recordings this six-tracker was eagerly received. And boy, what a find! The EP contains six incredibly inventive cuts ranging in style from abstract noise explorations to sample manipulations, quirky pop and even twisted Sid Barrett style prog rock! The common thread throughout is the combination of the perverse and the catchy. For me this is definitely the most inventive release of the year - extremely captivating and simply a delight to listen to." To date Rob has had releases on Lo Recordings, Unbearable, Noodles, Rigid Records, Law & Auder etc, and is particularly known for his live sets which have graced events including RoTa, Monastery of Sound, Radiophonica, Wang, Visible Noise and many more.... this is really one to watch - phil earle --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
