Well, firstly happy birthday, fellow Sagittarian! Maybe a birthday is a good time to take stock and learn something new for the year ahead. Here's a radical thought : life's not full of shortcuts - how about doing some of the spadework yourself? Write off to Bent Crayon, s//kimo, Pelikanneck, Othermusic, etc. etc. and request them to send you their weekly new releases lists which have great descriptive reviews. Read them, make up your own mind, order, buy, listen. Learn to like or learn from your mistakes. Discover for yourself. Don't always rely on other people to make decisions for you. The list is EXCELLENT for information and recommendations - but it gets tiresome to always bail out people looking for 'help' every time they 'change moods'. Hell, I'm a woman! Would you please give me directions every time I have a mood swing?? :-) Not meant harshly - just a little nudge.
