Hi all, I'm new on this list and only discovered recently the idm genre (I am heavily into psy/goatrance, but thought I'd like to expand my musical horizon a bit ;) knowing just a couple of names, so I was wondering if you could give me some suggestions. Things I like a lot so far : all autechre albums, jake mandell - parallel processes, phoenecia - brown out, sutekh - periods.make.sense, arovane - atol scrap, jega - geometry, fsol - life forms, twerk - I'm rendered useless (is this supposed to be idm too ?), and orbital albums especially in sides. Things I like but that's all : two lone swordsmen, µ-ziq, pan sonic, vladislav delay, monolake, some aphex twin. Things I don't really like : squarepusher, mouse on mars, plaid (except for a couple of songs, like dangspot). I'm only a cds user for now. Also are there any specialized online shops with good prices, preferably based in Europe ? Thanks a lot Vincent --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
