Troum (interview with Stevan also man behind Drone Records) Music is very much based on repetitive pieces and drones and this only with the use of traditional (analogue) instruments. COH A heavy piece this EP even have it only four songs. Not only interesting for Coil fans I think, it sounds cool retro and I think people who like blood-red poppies from Gerome Nox gonna appreciate this one.

Icebreaker Many songs reminded me to Tortoise 'Djed'. But icebreaker tells more stories. They are more impressionistic with an expressionistic theatricality.

Pulseprogramming 2 of 2 in 1000 The next step in the evolution of the duo. '2 of 2 in 1000' is filmier than their previous work. It tells a story with sounds, comparable with what Chessie did on 'Meet'. Sphere and Rhythm are important this time.

Chessie Successor from the tasteful Meet CD from ’99 on Drop Beat. What on Meet become clear in tracks as “nowa huta” get confirmed on Overnight. Chessie succeed as first for me in combining Kraut-rock (post-rock) and electronic in a manner that both keep their identity.
