Brief self-promotion here: my weekly column went up today, and today's topic
is genre, with an extended meditation on "clicks and cuts," micro house and
the current state of microsound, including comments from 12k and LINE's
Taylor Deupree & Richard Chartier.
Given that it touches on topics that have come up now and again here, I
thought people might enjoy it.
(Also, I posted a lengthy reply to a discussion about micro house to 313
last night and this morning, but it doesn't seem to have gone through either
time. Could someone who's on that list confirm or deny for me? Thanks!)
