it's not electronic, but it's on warp so maybe it
qualifies in some limited way-- the new vincent gallo
is really really good... very textural guitarwork,
definitely ambient, mellow, the perfect music to fall
asleep to, or to make love (as opposed to 'have sex')
to. which is not to say i think sleeping and sex are
related, but they're both good things, i guess.
new oval 'commers' is really good.
pole vs. fourtet (don't know if it's recent?) is
great.
mum 'yesterday was dramatic...'& 'please smile my nose
bleed' also very nice.
and not even remotely related to this list, but i just
picked up 'dub housing' by pere ubu... fucking
classic.
