Andrew Duke, who has produced radio shows and DJ mix podcasts for nearly 30 years focusing on underground techno & techno, had the idea to put together a benefit compilation for Andreas Gehm. Andreas is a prolific German producer and live performer of acid techno, house, and electro. He has recently been undergoing health problems that have made it impossible for him to work his day job or travel to perform, which has completely depleted his savings. Since Andrew is acquainted with many of the best producers from around the world, he's been able to get a top notch line-up of exclusive and unreleased tracks. The first volume of 25 tracks was released today, with a goal of releasing 3 more volumes by Monday, May 23. https://compforandreasgehm.bandcamp.com/album/comp-for-andreas-gehm In addition to being a good cause, the music is first rate. My involvement is as mastering engineer. I'm proud to be part of it, but the conception and execution is almost all Andrew.
