while i can agree with any rational individual in thinking this was an extremely cold and callous act on the part of the perpetrator, i must also add that i am completely stunned at even the conception of the idea itself, never mind the carrying out of such an act. Using intercontinental aircraft to destroy buildings is something from a far fetched, b movie. Madmen, sure, but you cant deny the ingenuity of it. And while i cant agree with any motives involved, i must stress the idea that if the U.S pushes this idea of "punishment" for those involved in this henious act, then the ring just will not stop. Terrorists cannot afford $100,000,000 bombs, they can only afford people who are willing to die for a cause, their cause, no matter how ludicrous it may seem to others. It can only get worse. And america and its supporters will never get them all. if its about religion, then both religions preach "forgive and forget". if its about politics, you cannot deny that america and its long arm of money has a lot to answer for. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

The Pilot Episode of the now-cancelled Fox Series "The Lone Gunmen" included a plot to fly a jet into the WTC. That's one you'll never see aired again... http://www.xfiles.stylicious.com/lonegunmen/1aeb79.php --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

i thought terrorism had been around for years. suddenly it strikes a little closer to home and every body must pay. if we didnt know who the terrorists were before, how do you plan on finding out now, when they are all going to be in hiding. i remember ireland when they implemented that 7 day holding scheme for suspected terrorists. didnt matter if they where guilty or not, they would plead it just to get out of the situation. maybe its because its the first time any damage has been done on american soil, ever(neither wars succeded)that this is so frightening to n. americans, but the rest of the world has been living with evil and death and murder. why the fuck is it so significant now?? oh, i know, cause were american. grow up. as long as there is war and conflict in the world, over money or god or whatever, no one is safe. i didnt hear anyone complaining too much about moscow. a couple of peeps on the radio, on the tv. it was forgotten in a week. somehow i think this is going to take a little bit longer(i can just see it"that fateful day on sept 11, 2001"). _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

quoted 1 line (i can just see it"that fateful day on sept 11, 2001").> (i can just see it"that fateful day on sept 11, 2001").
So, are you saying that the world should *not* get upset about terrorism and finally try to do something about it? Sure, it's a little sad that it takes attacks on American soil to finally turn everybody's heads about how stupid, horrible, and pointless is hatred unleashed. However, if it takes this to unite the world and get more effort into combatting terrorism (including the behaviors of the US that provoke it - I hope we take a good long look at our foreign policy), I don't think that is a bad thing. Not in the least. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
