NANOBRAT PRESENTS: MUSIC IN AIRPORTS, OAKLAND CONTROL TOWER. Saturday Sept. 22nd, 2001 Oakland Intl. Airport Control Tower Lounge 3 PM - 11 PM. $5.00 before 6 PM $8.00 after. Embark on a seven hour flight of live electro and IDM in the Control Tower lounge at Oakland International airport. On the runway we have performances by CTRL-Z <SF>, Nethercarols <Oakland>, Guartermelon <SF>, Pippilina <Nanobrat/SF>, Duo Electro <Oakland>, AEM <Santa Barbara>, Swipe <interrelatedarts.org/SF> and DJ ground support by Surface <Surface / Milwuakee>. In the event of a sudden decrease in cabin pressure, alcohol will be available at the bar. Coffee, peanuts and wetnaps will be served. Please buckle your seatbelt during take off and landing. The Control Tower Lounge is situated high above the Oakland Airport runways in the actual control tower with a gorgeous view of San Francisco to the West. To get there: drive or take BART to the Oakland Airport (park in general public parking) and find Terminal 1 (United/Delta). Locate the elevator marked ?CONTROL TOWER LOUNGE? across the hall from the ?East Bay Trading Company? not far from the terminal entrance.
