Nu Era is the techno guise of producer Dego who is better known for his d&b project 4Hero. As far as i'm aware, there are only a handful of Nu Era 12"s and comp appearances available which is a real shame because the Nu Era i've heard is right in line with the early 90s detroit-influenced uk techno scene like stasis, as one, etc. if there is a Nu Era album please let me know...

My buddy recorded these two tunes, one that is a reprise of the other!......honestly, I just cant believe the sound coming out of these speakers. For the likes of the world, I cant understand how anyone couldn't pull their hair out listening to this stuff! (I dont have any.....:) Some chap told me the duo is also 'Jacobs optical stairway'.....(ambient stuff I know, as I have heard several tunes from em).... These two tunes have yet to leave my ears and its the second day since I had em........Would any one want to adopt my firstborn in exchange for a compilation Nu Era Cdr/Tape of their Detroit influenced stuff? I will add in some plants, candles and couple other cds..........(u name it). The shit is hot!

afaik, Jacobs Optical are the two guys out of 4 Hero (Mac & Dego?) - they were not so much ambient as loungey D&B. I * --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I've been trying to get the entire back catalogue, every releases has been pretty stellar. Many of the artists are involved with the West London broken beat scene. This is definitely a label to look out for next time you hit the shops!!!!!!!!!! Domu (Sonar Circle), Opaque (Seiji), Nubian Mindz (Alpha Omega), Mustang (Alex Attias), DHJ (Modaji), Future Beat Alliance, Volcov (label owner), Orange Water (Orin Walters Aka Afronaught in collaboration with G-Force & Seiji). http://www.interactivedj.co.uk/interview.html ===== SWOPE TRANSMISSIONS - FRIDAY Evening 6-9pm (Pacific) http://home.earthlink.net/~efrans/swope-transmissions Listen @ KUCI 88.9Fm Irvine, CA Streaming on the net at http://kuci.org __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
