Yes there are a few of us on here from Dallas. As far as good shows, I have seen Mouse on Mars, Marumari, Autechre and Ogre in the last few months and god willing, will see Squarepusher and Plaid before the summer is out. So not too shabby. Unfortunately Scorn and Proem cancelled :( As far as shops, Dallas is lacking in that department (although Good Records is carrying more and more IDM) but Austin is a short drive away, where you will find many money-sucking establishments suck as Waterloo, 33 Degrees and Alien. no no... gridlock, proem and a local artists called blowtorch (??) are playing at the sand bar in dallas on the 15th. Scorn did cancel but the show is still on. Hell it better still be on i've bought our plane tickets already. 8^)
