It is funny though when Americans try to use British slang in an American
way. Eg, Hey bloke (Hey dude), incorrect. I guess it's a bit easier to go
the other way though because American TV/Film is so widespread. There's more
to slang than just an interchangeable word. It's a cultural expression. So
if you try to use another culture's slang thinking it's a just a word then
people will giggle when you mess it up. I recommend viewing lots of crappy
English soaps to get the hang of the lingo (eg, Eastenders, Coronation
Street, Brookside, etc). L8r m8.
