aye aye... i'm dropping my words of hello, just joined this list, been on a couple other hyperreal lists for some time, figured since idm sounds have interested my head for the last couple years, and recently finding this list, i should join... dunno if i know any of you listed here or not, so here's the intro.... i'm steve knight, i run thoughtbludgeon.com, i've been known to drop some more intelligent experimental pieces as well as some noisier bits, so as to keep proper interest and not come off as spam (for now at least.. :) ) anyone that wants to hit up some tunes, check edgey at thoughtbludgeon.com ... of course i should make some suggestions as to remain on topic, 'calm resolve' or 'recusant' would be choice listening material... as the defining qualities of idm change frequently, and so little is known about it, i would like any feedback you would offer... now playing: go plastic / catstep / some beefcake / and a little hive piece --- http://www.mp3.com/edgey http://www.thoughtbludgeon.com "...when you're holding a hammer, everything looks like a nail..." I also thought I'd mention, seeing as how I only mentioned my current project, something that may be more in tune with the sound scapes you all subscribed and desire, 'Deep Fried Clams' http://www.mp3.com/deepfriedclams you can also check the tunes on Oxygen Music Works, a full length CD entitled "Hiding behind a Smile", and DFC Remix of Neotropic's "Ultra Freaky Orange", perhaps some day should the urge come again, more DFC material will come along, til now, enjoy those. njoy all. ----- Original Message ----- From: "THOUGHTBLUDGEON" <thoughtbludgeon@thoughtbludgeon.com> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Wednesday, July 25, 2001 2:22 AM Subject: greetinz...
