i only have one senking release, and i wouldn't necessarily lump it in with
those artists you mentioned. the one i have is "trial" on the raster label
(part of the static series) and it very crisp, dark, reverbated pops and
glitches... one of the best releases on that label i've heard. also leagues
above a lot of the stuff on mille plateaux (which i am a big fan of too, if
that's any indication). as for the other senking releases... can't help you
there, sorry

i love it. it is a logical extension of "niun niggung", going further away
from IDM pretense and more toward their own off-kilter brand of pop music.
there are vocals on a few of the tracks, often processed or cut up but
occasionally clean and melodic. it's way better than i would have expected,
and possibly my favorite mouse on mars release. if you are a fan of their
kitschier, newer stuff, you'll probably like it, but if you are more into
the "instrumentals" or lithops more serious stuff, then it may not be your
tea.
