I have been grappling with this so do pardon me if it doenst come
out altogether "correct".
There is something wrong here, but I cant say quite what it is. Its best
to speak from my own experience with the "list".
I have been on and off the list for about 3 yrs, and now that I have
come back it is "different". Fact of the matter, and I am gonna name-drop for
the sake of giving props --- not for the sake of blowing anyones cover, is that
with all the help that I received from all the cats in Detroit, Jeroen, McGannon, Klein, Duke, I!(U know who you are), Parkin, Pietro, Knappman, Miss Z., Counts, Sherburne, Alcommendras, Simon G., CiM(with just questions I'd have), Churchill, Esa, Dipthong, Ross, Nate(n:n), Wendy-Win, Upton & Bevan, Koch, Ken from Black Dog(?), Emmett, Norris, Nutty Sarah and man-o-man sorry forgeting to mention you others--there is no way that I wouldn't help out (i.e., GIVE) ANYONE that asks.
It seems that the help is not as fluid as it used to be and its a mad dash to get the newest release that the list talks about. I will stay out of that game but I am saying all this to say regardless of how you might feel or think, WE need to keep sharing the music in a positive way. Not with me per se, but choose to help someone, not for money or swoping sakes but just giving. Due to my experience, again, with the list(well some of its members) I have learned to give/help out others, semi-unconditionally and I wouldnt change this quality for the world. All the treasures that I have gained from those mentioned is a testimony of some of the goodness to the list, I think somehow we need to re-create this vibe.
Ignore or dont reply to this message if you want(that's your choice), I think its self-evident that the list could be better. And there is no need for a critical analysis of this message to find flaws in logic, grammar or what-have-u, just look at the essence of what I am saying and LET'S try be cool(yes, I am taking my own medicine too).
