Yes i have been enjoying this compilation quite a bit recently as
well. I think my favorite tracks are the ones by Arovane, Hermann
& Kleine, Phonem, and Skanfrom but all are quite listenable.

This compilation release was a lucky find at the local recordshop
this week. Before I walked in the door I hadnt heard anything about
this compilation and I would have bought my records and left had is
not been for its unusual silver wrapping paper and total lack of
information on the outside. So I asked the guy at the recordshop
about this mysterious release and he informed me that it was some
limited german compilation featuring tracks from Arovane, Hermann &
Kleine, Phonem, Skanfrom and some others. That's all I needed to hear
so I snapped it up and now I'm thrilled that I did. This compilation
features 13 tracks from the above mentioned artists as well as some
new & lesser-knowns including Lowtec, Beefcake, Frederik Schikowski,
Nicotine, Machiste, Item, and Mix At Home. Highlights on this one
include Arovane's smooth atmospheric electronica 'Noimh,' Skanfrom's
lush electro-tinged 'Midnight Romanc,' Hermann & Kleine's casual 'A
Day In a Park,' Machiste's new-wave electro 'Reale La Vitacu,"
Item's minimal but elegant 'Taufrisch,' and Phonem's beatless ambient
experiement 'Un Barrage Contre Le Pacifique.' The other tracks on
this comp range from decent to one or two below average tracks but
overall a great compilation of modern melodic eletronic music. Highly
recommended (if you can find it - supposedly limited to 500 copies
worldwide). For more information check out the Thrill Beat
