I'm not sure I could exercise to IDM's odd time signatures...that is unless it was one of DJ Aura's mixes. He is da man! Last I heard he moved from Miami to NYC. Anybody know where he plays out? He used to flex his skills and record collection @ Beat Camp in Sobe...good shit! Aura spins records all over the NYC area, including various Warp shows and certain electronic nights at bars in the area (Drinkland, Openair etc). If there's an IDM type event going on it's a pretty good chance he will be one of the DJs that night. And yes his mixes are quite nice, in the crunchy Ae/MAS/Schematic realm.
