just some info re: the query below, four tet and all
that - domino's opening up an american office at the
moment, which means four tet and others will be
available domestically at a cheap price soon enough.
the u.s. release date for four tet's "pause" is sept.
24, and the label will also be releasing pilote's
"doitnowman" statesite on oct. 22. both are
excellent, but the four tet is a definite standout in
my book. granted, i'm working pr on it (full
disclosure) but it's a great record. lush, melodic
sounds with live instrumentation that made me sit up
and take notice unlike 99% of the stuff i've been
hearing lately...
so pick it up on import or wait for the domestic
release if you're in the states - all you european
'bods will get it earlier i suppose!
