We have decided to alter the ticket policy a tad bit... If you show up to the festival on Sunday afternoon, you can get in for $20 rather than the normal gate price of $40. This means that any of you IDM folk, that don't want to be subjected to other types of music, can check out the Sunday night performance without paying for the entire event. -c --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Wow. Thank you, Chris. You just solved my money problem. And obvious thanks for helping to organize the event and keeping people updated. That said, I'll be willing to drive a carpool of Seattle peeps over to the Phoenix festival that Sunday, if anyone's interested. I might very well leave after Lexaunculpt's set.. though I stress "might". I unfortunately have to work on Monday morning, so I want to avoid having to stay *too*, too late if I can. ======================================================================= Brian MacDonald <brianm@kuci.org> ======================================================================= On Tue, 26 Jun 2001, Chris West wrote:

Damn personable of you, that. Is there any information on what (rough) time the performances will be starting that night? Is it basically just a "shortly after dark" timeschedule? I ask in this forum because I tried in vain to find similar information on the site, and I figure there might be a few on-list that would want to know the same. Although, for those of you who _are_ going to the full fest, I'd definitely recommend checking out Bill Horist's live performance during the daytime if you haven't before. I can almost promise that you haven't seen anyone do *that* with a guitar and sampler set before-- or at least not to that extent. I'm not sure how interesting it would be on his CDs, when, er, the means of production are obscured (apologies to Mr. Melucci), but the spoon/whisk/saw/cheesegrater/vibrator guitar technologies are much appreciated in a live context-- I usually try to catch him when he hits P-town. Yeah, we are looking at starting at about 8pm or so. There are still a few variables being tossed around, but if you wanted to catch all of the IDM performers you will be looking at about a 12 hour slot (8-8). So I suppose that would be a shortly before sun- down to shortly after sunrise time schedule. Not Breathing, Lexaunculpt, L'usine, and Phonem will be playing late. Probably between the hours of midnight and 6am. After we get the schedule completely sorted, we'll post some more info on the performance page. -Chris np: solvent & lowfish --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
